In addition, resin floors are seamless, and much easier to clean than other flooring surfaces, such as tiles, therefore there are also savings to be made through reduced cleaning and maintenance. 
    Yes, resin is a great flooring option for factories, workshops, warehouses, depots, packaging halls and other industrial buildings. Resin floor surfaces are durable, scratch resistant and hygienic. Resin floors are laid seamlessly in-situ by trained resin floor installation experts. Because of the enhanced life expectancy of resin floors, they offer great life-cycle cost savings over time. 
    It depends on the type of resin floor chosen, and the resin floor build-up installed but with correct care and maintenance resin can last in excess of ten years, or even in some cases the lifetime of the building. If the floor is going to be subject to frequent spillage, wet processes or high traffic tracking in water from inclement weather conditions underfoot, it is important to factor this in at design stage. For wet areas, we recommend positively textured systems that incorporate quartz or polymer beads into the system build-up to ensure sufficient traction underfoot. This can be adjusted to suit the slip resistance requirements of any environment. 
    We may be biased, but yes, we think that resin floors are better than tiles! Resin is seamless, monolithically laid in-situ without unnecessary cracks or grout lines which are prone to harbouring dirt, dust and bacteria! This makes resin surfaces easier to clean and inherently more hygienic! 
    Without a doubt, resin floors are worth it, and what's more at the end of their working life, resin floors can simply be floored over, with no need to uplift, remove and dispose of in landfill!
